This webinar describes the three global forces that shift the employer-candidate balance of power to favor the candidate. In part two of our series we provided you with the necessary tools to respond to these changes. The organizing structure of great employment programs is the Engagement Cycle -- a long-term practice of attracting, acquiring, and advancing the best talent within your organization.
Practices for success:
- Attract the best candidates using the disciplines of marketing, employer branding and long-term relationship building
- Acquire talented people with a selection process that authenticates your powerful employer brand and makes a great match
- Advance these great employees in their professional and personal lives, retaining them with the organization even as business conditions change
The Engagement cycle can be applied to small and large businesses, local and multi-national firms, in North America and around the world. It is the foundation of a hiring practices that moves beyond transactional, short-term hiring and makes recruitment strategic, measurable and aligned with the organization's business goals.
This webinar was based on concepts from Finding Keepers: The Monster Guide to Hiring and Holding the World’s Best Employees published by McGraw Hill in January 2008.
